Description

Eucalyptus leaf essential oil is carefully steam-distilled from the oval-shaped leaves of the Eucalyptus (or gum) tree, resulting in a highly fragrant oil that has a distinctive camphoraceous and clearing aroma.

Native to Australia, Eucalyptus trees are towering evergreens that can grow in excess of 150 metres in height. The oil glands in the leaves of the eucalyptus tree produce the aromatic compounds that give us their unmistakable scent.

Eucalyptus essential oil can help alleviate cough and cold symptoms and is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to reduce the severity of symptoms in mild upper respiratory tract infections. It can also help with mild rheumatic aches and pains. Our highly concentrated Eucalyptus leaf oil can be applied topically to affected areas or diffused to disperse the cool, clear and airy aromas..

Directions for Use

Diffusion: Add 8 - 12 drops in a vaporiser and inhale deeply Add 8 - 12 drops to a bowl of hot water and inhale deeply. Apply 1 -2 drops onto a tissue, hold near nose and inhale. Use up to 3 times per day.

Topical Use: Dilute 1-2 drops of oil with 2-4 drops of carrier oil and apply to affected area up to 3 times per day. See additional precautions below.
