She is renowned for her work with natural materials, particularly pandanus fiber, which she uses to create vibrant, handwoven baskets and bags. Her artistic process involves gathering and dyeing pandanus leaves, often using dyes derived from local plants, which vary in color based on seasonal availability. Nabegeyo's works are deeply connected to her cultural heritage, blending traditional techniques with her unique artistic vision. She frequently collaborates with Injalak Arts, a prominent Indigenous art center in Gunbalanya, where she continues to develop her craft and share her cultural narratives through art.
